No one is upset when you bring guacamole to the function. My dad is known to arrive with a big bag of avocados and various fruits and make this recipe fresh lakeside. Most guacamoles are creamy and thin and 90% avocado. This recipe is much chunkier and almost closer to salsa. I love it because the recipe calls for a bit of sweet fruit. You can use anything from pineapple to peaches but the natural sugar complements the acidity from the limes so well. You’ll be scraping the bottom of the bowl.
It’s best served by a body of water with a margarita in hand!
My Dad’s Famous Guacamole

1 Roma tomato
1 clove of crushed garlic
1/2 a bunch of fresh cilantro
Instructions
Roughly dice the avocados and add them to a bowl.
Core and finely mince the jalepeño and add it to the bowl.
Small dice the mango and add to the bowl
Add the lime juice and salt to the bowl.
Mince the red onion, dice the tomato, crush the garlic, and mince the cilantro.
Add everything to the bowl and used a fork to mix crushing the avocado slightly until it's a creamy texture with some chunks
Enjoy with chips!
Hope everyone has a great father’s day weekend!
That looks amazing!! I've grown up in the Southwest my whole life. We use a Braun hand blender to whip up the avocados fist and then mix in the other ingredients. Either way, life wouldn't be the same without Guacamole!! Thanks for sharing your Dad's famous recipe, David
Yum!! Lake Powell?
