I graduated culinary school yesterday!! WOHOO!!! Over the past year I’ve gotten hundreds of dm’s and questions from people asking for a breakdown. “Would you reccomend?” “Was it worth it financially?” “How was it being gluten-free?”. I wanted to wait until I had completed the entire program before sharing my honest thoughts on the experience. And I’m going to be very honest. I want you to be adequately prepared if you’re considering this. I'd like to share what it was like for me. Social media can tend to be a highlight reel, and something I love about Substack is that I feel like I can be genuine with you guys. You’re capable of understanding nuance; an experience can be good while still having parts of it that were hard and challenging. Two things can be true. So let’s get into it.
